According to the Youtube description:
"Bob is an editor struggling to finish a movie he's working on. He becomes obsessed with his work and finds himself getting sucked into the film..."

Something a Little Funny For Today From FabledVerse
Just to get off on a light hearted note, I found this amusing little piece on Youtube by FabledVerse. I featured him on this blog before and for those of you who missed it, click on the "poetry" topic and his artist's showcase should come up.
Today, instead of poetry, I'm featuring a short skit by FabledVerse, entitled "Absolute Power", that gives tribute to the Star Wars universe. Let's just say that it's a little....ummmmm...

Short Movie Filler Day - IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZER!!!!
Okay, usually I wouldn't post something like this on the blog, since I reserve movie fillers for things that are thought provoking and artistic. But today, I'm just gonna cut loose and include something a little mindless.
To say the least, its humor is very random and very in line with "Robot Chicken". Some of you may appreciate it, while some of you won't. But, hey...we can't be serious all the time.

"Terminator 5: Rise of the Elmo" or "Christine 2: WTH?"
I'm not sure what to think about this. Either Skynet's getting desperate or Christine just got trashed and a piece of her got recycled back as an Elmo. You'll see what I mean.

An Interesting Truth About Writing
Got this little piece from the "101 Reasons to Stop Writing" blog.
Though this is a little offbeat and sarcastic, but this picture does bring up a very true point--more people are in love with the image of being a writer, rather than the actual discipline of writing itself.
Everyone, including some writers, have a stereotype of what a writer "should" look like to some degree or another (and most of the time, it's overly romantic). But very few people actually have a set/realistic definition of what it actually means to be a writer.
That's the reason why I ended up writing this article, here.
For all you viewers out there, including fellow writers, what say you?

For All You H.P. Lovecraft Fans Out There!!!
Since one of my previous posts involved the subject of horror, I figured it wouldn't hurt to post something light hearted on the subject today. For all those Lovecraft fans out there, you'll definitely enjoy this. This web series has been going on for about a year or so and it’s garnered a significant following ever since. The address to its main site, which includes all the other episodes of this series, is http://callsforcthulhu.blogspot.com/. From now on, I will include a link to this site in the Links section of this blog.
This show, for those of you who still don't know, is based on a dark god created by the horror writer, H.P. Lovecraft. This dark god, which is obviously named Cthulhu, is an immense alien being who slumbers beneath the ocean in an ancient forgotten city. When the time is right, he will awaken and bring about the end of the world, while devouring the souls of men and driving humanity into sheer homicidal madness. So, anyway, enjoy!

Some Offbeat Stuff
Something that I wrote up a while ago with a computer and too much time on my hands. Enjoy!
Horrible Movie Concepts:
“Winnie the Pooh VS. Tigger 2” – The ultimate sci-fi horror showdown between Winnie the Pooh and the new cybernetic prototype of his betrayed friend Tigger who has risen from the dead.
“Somewhere Over the Rainbow…of DEATH” – The Wicked Witch is back and she’s back with a vengeance. Armed with a shotgun and her past companions, who all went to Japan to learn martial arts, Dorothy hopes to take her down for good. And this time, it’ll take a lot more than just a bucket of water!
“Bowflex: The Movie” – John Jay, an ex-Navy Seal and part-time FBI agent, has recently joined the CIA to hunt down the criminal-terrorist-drug-lord who murdered his brother during a drug-deal-bank-robbery/political assassination gone wrong. In his quest for revenge, John recruits an unlikely ally—a high-tech Bowflex machine with a dark and troubled past. Can these two work together to solve this crime or will their troubled relationship act to further drive them apart?
“Catwoman’s Glitter 2: The Battlefield Gigli” – A girl with big dreams pursues a music career while acting as a bodyguard for the mafia who’s at war with an alien race seeking to enslave humanity, while fending off the vigilante attacks of a woman dressed as a cat.
“Public TV Pledge Drive: The Movie” – Some old guy/lady talks about giving money to public TV in exchange for a tote bag for about two hours straight…oh wait, they kinda do that already. This movie is brought to you by the Chubb Institute and The Learning Foundation (“Higher learning for higher education.”).
“The Day Before Tomorrow” – A pre-apocalyptic movie that takes place exactly in the present day and exactly at the present moment. It’s just basically a movie theatre with one large mirror in front of the audience instead of a movie screen.
“Kid’s Infomercial: The Movie” – Also known as “Yugi-oh: the Movie”.
